Happy Birthday, Elliott Gould!
You were by far my most preferred version of Trapper. Wise-talkin’, mysterious at times, and constantly wearing a wacky hat. Surprisingly, you and not Donald Sutherland had the best line in the movie. “Don’t let him kiss you, Hawkeye.” and such. I enjoyed the bit with the gum, and of course the revelation of the olives was key.
All in all, a great character was made of Trapper by your wry wit and subtle acting. Cheers, Elliott Gould!
