More White Men
Description of Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man, released today:
Watching Michael Moore in action — passing off manipulating facts in Bowling for Columbine, spinning statistics in Stupid White Men and Dude, Where’s My Country?, shamelessly grandstanding at the Academy Awards, and epitomizing the hypocrisy he’s made a king’s fortune railing against — has spurred authors David T. Hardy and Jason Clarke to take action into their own hands. In Michael Moore Is a Big Fat Stupid White Man, Hardy and Clarke dish it back hard to the fervent prophet of the far left, turning a careful eye on Moore’s use of camera tricks and publicity ploys to present his own version of the truth.
I don’t know about this. I’ve got a little worm in the back of my mind telling me that it’ll probably be filled with just as much self-righteous tripe as Michael Moore himself, only from the opposite end of the political spectrum. Still, it might be worth it to check out, if only to fill out my arguments against the lying bastard.

I’ll make you a deal, I’ll buy and read the book, bring my giant brain to bear against it, and then we’ll get this settled once and for all.
Sound good? ^^

The book is terrible. You don’t attack a man like Moore by saying that he’s fat pasty white. What’s the point? We already know that. They also imply that he’s a hypocrit because he’s rich. Unfortantly they neglect to say that Moore raised a good chunk of the money for Roger and Me by running bake-sales and Bingo games.
Yea, he’s rich *now*, he earned his money though. And being rich doesn’t make you unworthy of being listened too.
When it comes to rebuting his facts it’s pretty masterbatory as well (I just invented a new word!) They rebut Moore’s claim that 24 direct family members of Osama bin Laden left the country on September 13th by saying that the flight ban was lifted on September 13th and that they went through the normal securtiy clearances. Unfortunatly that’s not the point. Moore’s point was that the brother of a mass murderer probably shouldn’t be allowed to leave the country. And even if they are allowed to leave the country, they should do more than simply check their passports.
At least the authors stick to Moore and don’t fellate Bush as I was expecting.
The book is punishment to read. Luckily it was short.
