Just a reminder for all and sundry to check out the Kingston Canadian Film Festival this weekend! I’m doing crowd control late night on Saturday, so come on out and keep me entertained. Specs:
- This year’s festival showcases 25 screenings of 17 top feature films from across Canada.
- Events include a Documentary Seminar, Workshops, 1-on-1 sessions, and the “Local Shorts Program” as part of the Festival’s newly launched Local Filmmaking Initiative.
- Some of the feature films:
- Seducing Dr. Lewis (Jean-François Pouliot, Winner – World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award, Sundance Film Festival)
- The Triplets of Belleville (Sylvain Chomet, Nominee – Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature Film; Best Original Song)
